Deshaie’s botanical gardens (15 minutes from the house): a “must see” on the island. Take a walk amongst the luxurious vegetation and discover rare plants and colorful parrots. Many other marked trails will enable you to discover the tropical forest, Sofaia’s “showers” (10 minutes from the house), magnificient waterfalls such as Carbet’s falls, or la Souffrière’s summit (for the most energetic hikers).

Or visit the rum museum (10 minutes from the house).

Children (and adults) will also love “Mamelles” Parc, the cacao house or the Nautilus, a glass bottom boat (in Bouillante)...
